been in the church before and have experienced a lot and i wish to share my experience with you. Am not alone; am with some people in the same predicament. To start with, I and the group with whom we are seeking the face of the Lord were in the Legio Maria sect and sincerely we were badly poisoned with bad doctrine such as using witchcraft, visiting and inquiring from the spirits of the dead, enchantment, divinations, we were not using the bible and we were taught that we should worship our bishop and adore Mary as the mother of the church and that Jesus Christ was not the son of God. In this church there were a lot of evil spirits which could torment and disturb us, when this could happen we were told that it was because we had evil minds and we have to repent to the bishop.

We had a very rough time and we started thinking how other churches worshiped, whether this was the same mode of worship, then one day in our home town there was an open air meeting conducted by one of the churches in this area. I and my colleagues decided to go and listen to their preaching. After the meeting we discovered that everything that they said; they had to refer to the bible to confirm to the listeners that all there they were talking was direct from the bible unlike the other church where we were. When we went home, we started thinking and pondering the things that we heard at the open air meeting, because the preachers never gave time for people to get saved, at home we had some green light about the truth in the Bible and on that same day we heard a little that Jesus Christ is the son of God and he is the only one who saves. The following week we decided not to attend the Legio Maria church because even though we had not known much truth about the Bible and the saving grace of Jesus Christ, at least we came to realize that we were misled and we were heading to hell, so what we did instead of going to that church we decided to remain in doors and we had to start praying to the Lord to forgive us and direct us to the bible based, Christ centered and a God fearing church. It was when I personally came to town and visited a cyber café and I felt something leading me at least to do some search about ministries, this is when I was blessedly directed to your webpage and I found your contacts and then I had to humbly take time to tell you about my situation spiritually.

It has not been well with us since we left the church because we are receiving threats from the church officials and even their believers that our lives will be doomed unless we go back to the same church, we have been told that we shall be tormented forever unless we went back and rejoin with them again, but we have vowed in our hearts that whatever the circumstances and the consequences we have to commit our lives to Jesus Christ not fearing what men will say or think of us. We believe that the Lord introduced us to you with a divine purpose of enlightening us so that we may know our Lord better and the lives of those who are perishing in heresy and bad doctrine may come to the knowledge of Christ. Please we only confessed our sins in the house and asked Jesus to forgive us. Right now we are only using a New Testament Bible and this is what we are using among us numbering 26 people because in the previous church we were only used to reading books they called catechisms and we never saw the cover of a Bible, the one we are using now was given to us by a friend. So we are only reading that one. We are praying if the Lord wills that we may find Bibles to read, please pray with us for this need.
